A Single Story

i finished Ari and Dante. it was good. turns out they were actually in love with one another the whole time. Ari was scared of his feelings. i myself and sometimes unsure of my feelings. dante is a lover boy. ari is tougher. they both like to read. dante taught ari to swim. ari taught dante about the desert. when i think about love, it is fun. ari and dante had a fun love. they end up kissing in the end, in the desert. it took them a while to fall in love. i learned about instinct and the role it plays in emotion.

I realized that I don't know if people of color blush I've never seen it. Ari gets sick and has fever dreams. Dante draws a picture of Ari and it is sad. Ari reflects on this. They wonder when the world will belong to them. Ari feels like he is changing, his heart hurts. Ari thinks about his brother who is in prison.
